Get Involved

Partnerships with families, community organizations, and local businesses help support Penn Elementary School by expanding opportunities for student learning and success.

  • The Advisory Council assesses the needs of and represents the Penn Elementary School community and staff. It will develop and assess the effectiveness of the School Plan. It will serve in an advisory capacity to the principal in the development of the operating budget and fiscal support for the School Plan. This Council will also assist in communicating the vision and mission of Penn Elementary to its school, community, and the community at large.

  • The PTO meets monthly and supports many school activities, such as Family Nights, Read-A-Thon, Bingo Night, Movie Night, and Ice Cream Social.

  • Parents Active With Students (formerly known as Watch DOGS) are parents/guardians or adult family members who volunteer and spend the day at Penn.

  • Explore programs, resources, and support available for military-connected students and their families.
